Did you ever get a bad sunburn before the age of 16? All those sunburns you got by the time you were 16, may come back to say hi in your 40’s. It’s important to protect your skin, and of course, have regular skin checks.

You know I love being in the sunshine!

I don’t like getting burned, and I don’t like all the chemicals in sunscreens. I made this blend for skin support with helichrysum and lavender, and then I watch to make sure I’m not out in the sun long enough to get burned.

Except for the one weekend a year that my best friend comes to town for pool time, and then the laughing so hard my sides hurt, trading stories of our lovely husbands, memories of our years of working together, and sharing our hopes and dreams for the future, distract my mind from the amount of time we have spent at the pool.

After that weekend, I use lavender, frankincense, peppermint, and helichrysum to make my skin feel soothed and cooled. For a daily glow, I use a beautiful blend of frankincense, rose, helichrysum, lavender, myrrh and sandalwood.

Live in the sunshine, and if you can’t find it, BE the Sunshine!
